Welcome to the office of the Columbus City Attorney.

We are in the midst of a global pandemic. My office continues to monitor the status of the novel coronavirus daily and is working with city, county, and state agencies to address the impact on court operations. The health and safety of our employees and those who come in contact with our office is a top priority.

Update on Court Reopening

The Columbus City Attorney’s Office has been working to help create the safest environment possible when court reopens in June. Court dates have changed multiple times, arraignment locations have changed, and some cases have been resolved in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Before you come to court, please visit the Franklin County Municipal Court website at www.fcmcclerk.com to find the latest update on your case. If you have any questions, please contact your attorney or the Franklin County Municipal Court Clerk’s Office at 614-645-8186.
