Noisy Animal Complaints with the City of Columbus Prosecutor's Office:

If you have a complaint regarding a dog barking in an unreasonably loud or disturbing manner, and it is of such character, intensity, and duration as to disturb the peace of the neighborhood, please email City Prosecutor Andres Olivari Rodriguez at [email protected].

Your email should include a detailed description of the dog's behavior, including but not limited to:

  • The time(s) of day the dog barks
  • The duration of the barking
  • How many days a week the dog barks
  • How long this behavior has been ongoing
  • The address where the dog is kept
  • The name of the dog owner(if known)

Additionally, you will need to submit evidence of the dog's barking, such as an audio or video recording. Please note that the recording must demonstrate the barking for an extended period of time.
